Application for AMRC Research Fellowship

The Asia Minor Research Center in Antalya, Turkey, is pleased to sponsor a research fellowship of $6,000 for a biblical scholar to visit and research in Turkey. This annual fellowship grant is for postdoctoral and early career scholars who have already obtained their doctorate. The fellowship is designed to facilitate biblical research and learning through a personal trip to ancient sites in Turkey. Fellows should plan to live in Antalya; the grant includes a work space at AMRC’s private library. Eligibility is not limited to citizens or students of particular countries. Research topics should be focused within the field of biblical studies, particularly the social, material and/or geographical context of the New Testament/Early Christian Origins. There are no assigned dates for the fellowship; in communication with AMRC staff, fellows can select their own dates. To be considered for the summer or fall of 2022, completed applications and recommendations must be received by April 30, 2022.
